An ambitious start…
I created this blog with the intention of documenting all the IT projects I work on but didn’t realize until later that those projects are spaced out quite a bit. In an effort to give this blog some more life, I’ll also be posting quick life updates (like this one) on here with pictures.
Since the winter, I’ve been a busy little man. We’ve gotten our house painted, which was huge project within itself. Shout out to Margo Painting in Dover, Ohio for doing such a fantastic job. They worked their butts off to get my house done and I’ve gotten tons and tons of compliments.
In addition, my buddies and I have been re-doing a fishing boat that we bought from my parents. Before we got it, my parents let it sit out in the elements year round. It had REALLY warped floor boards which led to lots of plants growing up over the sides of the boat. We completely stripped the old flooring out, redid the wiring, fixed and painted the warped console, and replaced the trolling motor on it. She’s almost lake ready if we can manage to get the old outboard 9.9 motor fixed – if not I’ll have to wait until next year to replace it.
Courtney (my wife) and I also went on vacation to Hocking Hills and went hiking on a lot of the trails out there. It was very relaxing and the cabin was back in the woods close to a waterfall.
Other than that, I haven’t been up to much other than fishing. I’ll see you next time with more updates!
